Photoshop I Instructor: James Suits Adobe Photoshop has become a standard in the Web design, printing, photography, and graphic design industries. This course is designed to give students a solid foundation for the basics of digital imaging. Students will learn to input film or prints and adjust them for digital output. The course will cover the basic selection of tools, palettes, and techniques for fixing problematic photographs, removing unwanted elements, and enhacing mediocre images.
Web Design I* Instructor: Sean Hovendick If you have been thinking about creating a Web site but are uncertain how to begin, this course is for you. Learn to use Macromedia Dreamweaver, the industry's leading Web site design, editing, and management tool. Dreamweaver allows you to create pages visually like in a graphics program, and also to modify clean HTML code (the language of the Web!) like a traditional coder. Students will learn to use tables to lay out a site, to place graphics and text, and to make links to other pages and sites.
*Prerequisite: Photoshop I or equivalent

Learn to create convincing special effects, composite photographs, and photo collages. The course will cover contrast controls and color correction, selection refinements, burning and dodging, blurring and sharpening, and sponging and smudging. Students will learn to use patterns and drop shadows, as well as ghosting and layering principles. *Prerequisite: Photoshop I or equivalent
InDesign* Instructor: Jeff Passetti

Beginning Digital Photography Instructor: Tim Capone
Through a series of practical camera-based exercises, this course provides beginning-level digital camera owners with an overview of equipment available, creative project ideas, compositional and technical skills beyond novice levels, and a vision of useful and career enhancing projects and possibilities beyond the class.
Web Design II* Instructor: Sean Hovendick Students will learn to create dynamic, animated, and interactive Web pages through the use of forms, behaviors, cascading style sheets, and DHTML. Use this course to develop your own business, family, or personal Web site!
*Web Design I class or equivalent required.
